WELCOME TO THE ROTARY CLUB
OF FORT LAUDERDALE NORTH

The main objective of Rotary is service -- in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development.

THE FOUR WAY TEST

Of the things we Think, Say, or Do
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all?

POLIO PLUS RECEIVES
MAJOR EMPHASIS

President Christine Lindfield presents Guest Speaker Rotarian Bill Coffman with a recognition certificate announcing PolioPlus innoculations will be given to sixteen children in his honor. In lieu of a token thank you gift, the club is giving each guest speaker this sign of appreciation.

It is the goal of Rotary to eradicate polio from the face of the earth. Rotarians everywhere are working to the end.

Four Rotary Clubs joined together to hear Bill's update on the progress of the PolioPlus program and inspiring message of hope. Members from Cypress Creek, Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale Downtown, and Fort Lauderdale North not only enjoyed and learned from Bill's program, they also enjoyed a time of fellowship.
