Forty-six families received complete turkey dinners for Thanksgiving. Moms and Dads were quite surprised and thrilled as they arrived to pick up their children and found Rotarians giving them this wonderful gift! As you can see, the children were quite willing to help! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rotarians hand out FILE FOR LIFE medical fact sheets to attendes at the recent Tamarac Health Fair ![]() Fort Lauderdale North Rotary is very active in community service projects. Some of the past and current projects we are working on include: Adopt a Highway Litter clean up every four months along the Federal Highway between Commercial Blvd and McNab road. Salvation Army Bell Ringing ![]() one of our favorite projects. Each early December our club rings the Salvation Army bell in front of the K-Mart store on Oakland Park. Money raised goes toward the good works of the Salvation Army. Miscellaneous projects for the Swimming Hall of Fame An annual fun raiser community service project hosted by the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Centennial Project Building a nature walk path through the Bonnet House Estate and Museum. Picnic for Oncology Children from Broward County General Hospital Seventy five children and their families are treated to a day of play and food at the God's Little Acre play ground in Coconut Creek, FL. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Working with under privilaged children at the Jack & Jill Children's Center.
